And now, with the newly launched Tropico 6: Tropican Shores DLC, you can take that luxury to the next level—right onto the water!
Tropico 6 is expanding its horizons, quite literally, by allowing you to build directly on the water. With the Tropican Shores DLC, the game introduces a slew of new features that will make your island nation the envy of the Caribbean.
First up, say hello to megayachts, a tidal power station, and a variety of houseboats that your citizens can call home. Imagine your loyal Tropicans floating serenely on their new houseboats, basking in the tropical sun. In total, there are 15 brand-new buildings to play around with. From infrastructure to entertainment, your options just got a lot more exciting.
To help you master these new features, Tropican Shores includes a new scenario, ‘Yachts for El Presidente’. This scenario will guide you through all the luxurious new options, helping you expand your nation right on the water. Along with this, there are three new edicts designed to enhance your offshore projects, reducing construction costs, increasing efficiency, and introducing new taxation options.
Keep your citizens happy (and prevent revolts) with the newly added Dolphin Therapy building. And if some still harbor rebellious thoughts, there's always Shark Therapy to consider. These quirky additions are sure to add a splash of humor and fun to your game.
The fun doesn’t stop there. Tropican Shores also offers four brand new sandbox maps: ‘Pequeño Pero Mucho’, ‘Hipocampo’, ‘Las Manchas y Los Puntos’, and the map from the scenario, ‘Yachts for El Presidente’. Each map presents unique challenges and opportunities for you to showcase your leadership prowess both on land and sea.
