El sistema de combate se ha reequilibrado y corregido para hacer más hincapié en el sigilo y la gestión de recursos y ofrecer una experiencia de combate que combina lo mejor de BioShock y BioShock Infinite. Incluye una nueva arma, una de las antiguas armas favoritas del BioShock original, la reincorporación del menú radial de armas, un nuevo plásmido y más equipo y desgarros.
